City of Grande Prairie begins 92 street rehabilitation project

The City of Grande Prairie has begun a comprehensive road rehabilitation on 92 street today.

Between 74 Avenue and Woody Channel, City workers will be conducting asphalt milling and road structure replacements, applying new roadway markings, crosswalks and line paintings, and enhancing the landscape along the roadway.

The project aims to accommodate both the current and future traffic needs and foster economic growth.

To facilitate the construction a 30 km/h speed limit will be enforced, though traffic should only have short-term interruptions.
