County of Grande Prairie to drill new water source wells beginning Aug. 13

The County of Grande Prairie will begin drilling new water source wells Tuesday, August 13.

Drilling will begin Tuesday near the old pool in Hythe, then move to near the campground location north of the physical camp stalls and finish at the Wellhouse One Water Treatment Plant.

Each drilling is expected to last 3-4 days, with contractors working 7 days a week.

No impact to water services or traffic is expected while the work is ongoing, any directly impacted residences will be notified.
