116 Avenue lane changes

The City of Grande Prairie is informing residents that the 116 Avenue and 102 Street intersection is reopened.

Lane changes have also been made along 116 Avenue, as 105 Street to 102 Street will return to normal traffic flow, with two lanes going east and westbound.

The stretch of 116 Avenue that runs by Ernie’s, from 102 Street to 100 Street, will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The city says transit will also return to normal operations as stops 820 and 822 on Route 8 will resume on their regular schedule.

The city says residents should expect delays due to ongoing construction in the area.
