Environment Canada issues air quality advisories
Sep 6, 2024 | 2:59 PM
Environment Canada has issued an air quality advisory for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview, and the Peace River-Fairview-High Prairie-Manning forecast areas.
Wildfire smoke blowing in is causing poor air quality and reduced visibility.
The weather office says poor air quality is expected to last all weekend and into next week, and is reminding people that there are health risks for everyone in such conditions.
The updated air quality health index can be found on the Peace Airshed Zone Association website.
