City to begin delayed 84 Ave. road rehabilitation project

The City of Grande Prairie hopes to finally begin its comprehensive road rehabilitation project on 84 Avenue this Saturday.
The project was originally set to begin August 21, but was delayed due to equipment availability.
The rehabilitation is a multistage project; with stage one being a full-depth reclamation between 113 and 116 Streets.
While stage one is ongoing, over-height and size loads will be accommodated along 116 Street, while all other traffic will use the 100 Avenue detour, with local traffic and pedestrian access to remain a priority throughout.
