County of Grande Prairie Recreation and Culture Capital Grant Program still accepting applications

The County of Grande Prairie is extending the deadline to apply for its 2024 Recreation and Culture Capital Grant Program.

This is being done to ensure that Recreational and Cultural Facilities are available to meet the needs of County residents and visitors

The program is divided into two funding models, with the Capital Assistance model recipients to receive up to 50 per cent of the total project costs to a maximum of $50,000, while the Major Capital Grant is for projects costs more than $100,000.

The application period is now closing September 29.
