No physician coverage expected for Fairview Health Complex emergency department Oct. 2

The Fairview Health Complex emergency department will be without an on-site physician for several days this week.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday to 7:00 a.m Thursday.

Another closure is expected on Friday.

If patients call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to surrounding healthcare facilities.

If more coverage is found these disruptions may be cancelled.
