County of Grande Prairie appoints first Community Safety Coordinator

The County of Grande Prairie is welcoming its first Community Safety Coordinator.

Corinne James will be working to connect with residents, regional organizations and law enforcement to implement crime prevention and community policing initiatives.

James will be bringing nearly 30 years of experience in public safety and health to the position, including her time as the Government of Alberta’s occupational health and Safety lead Investigator.

She says she is passionate about connecting with communities to provide the support they need to make the county and even better place to live.
