CAREERS: The Next Generation hosting community reception Oct. 8

Alberta charitable foundation CAREERS: The Next Generation is holding a community reception October 8, to celebrate their efforts filling local workforce gaps.

The foundation works with Grande Prairie and surrounding community high schools to connect youth to employers for paid internships, with a record-breaking 330 opportunities facilitated in the past year.

The reception event will allow attendees to hear from former interns, local employers, and the CAREERS team.

It’s happening at the Delta Hotels Grande Prairie Airport today, start time is 5:00 p.m.
