Never Miss Lunch Food Drive taking place on Wednesday

The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre and local Subway locations are teaming up today (Wednesday, October 16) for the Never Miss Lunch Food Drive.

People are asked to drop off non-perishable food items like cereal and dry pasta, or hygiene products, socks, gloves, and toques.

There will also be a trailer set up at the Subway along Resources Road.

A loonie from every sale of cookies will be donated to Food Banks Canada.

This is all part of a national effort from Subway to help food banks across the country.
