Wapiti Dunes Clean-up set for Saturday

The Wapiti Off-Road Association is holding its annual Wapiti Dunes Clean-Up Saturday.

The association says on social media that this is chance to “take care of abandoned vehicles and illegal littering/dumping messes.”

Several local businesses are making donations of equipment to help in the effort.

Volunteers are asked to come out and help clean up the Wapiti Dunes and Wapiti River OHV trails. They are asked to meet at the yellow gates staging area east of the Dunes Golf and Winter Club.
