Fatal motor vehicle collision in Fairview

Mounties with the Fairview RCMP detachment say a person passed away following a motor vehicle collision on Highway 732, north of town on Wednesday.

The collision happened at approximately 12:40 p.m. on October 16, 2024, at the intersection of Highway 732 and Township Road 830.

RCMP officers along with a K Division reconstruction team responded to the incident involving a full size pick-up truck and small sedan.

The driver of the sedan, an 82-year-old woman from Fairview, was pronounced dead on scene.

The 23-year-old male driver of the pick-up truck was not injured.
