Avondale School cancels Friday classes

Avondale School is now closed for the day due to a water main break on 108 Avenue.

The Grande Prairie Public School Division says this incident has left the school without water, and classes are now cancelled for the day.

The district asks parents and guardians to keep their children at home, or if they are already at, or on the way to school, to arrange a pickup.
