Mobile mammography unit in Silver Valley November 1

Women In Saddle Hills County at risk of developing breast cancer will have local access to mammography services Friday, November 1.

Alberta Health Services Screen Test is bringing a mobile mammography trailer to the Savanna Agricultural Society Rec Plex.

Screen Test says it is dedicated to improving access to cancer screening for women in Alberta communities where a mammography is not readily available.

Appointments are free but must be scheduled in advance.
