City of Grande Prairie begins 2024 traffic signal maintenance

The City of Grande Prairie has begun it’s 2024 Traffic Signal Maintenance program.
City crews will be inspecting and upgrading traffic signal infrastructure at some intersections. The city says this is to better ensure the safety and reliability of traffic signals across the city.
The scheduled intersections include 92 Avenue and Resources Road, 84 Avenue and 108 Street, 100 Avenue and 124 Street and 68 Avenue and 108 Street.
While the work is ongoing there will be brief periods when the signals will be switched off. Drivers are advised to proceed with caution and follow any construction signage.
