La Glace Ringers win gold at Edmonton tournament

The U14 ringette team out of La Glace is donning some shiny new hardware following a successful weekend down in Alberta’s capital city.

The La Glace Ringers played in the Edmonton Silver Ring tournament on the weekend of November 22-24. The tournament consisted of 51 teams and over 700 athletes.

The girls won all but one game over the weekend; losing to Calgary 2-1 in their third game, but came back for redemption and beat the same team in the championship match 5-3 to claim the gold medal.
