Once on the scene, RCMP says they witnessed the suspects flee, and with help from Police Dog Services, the suspects were located and brought into custody.

Dennis Grant Ford, a 52-year-old resident of Bezanson, and Christopher Ryan Comer, 46-year-old Dawson Creek resident each had two charges laid against them:

  • Break and enter
  • Possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over $5,000

Ford was remained into custody with a court date set for December 23, while Comer was released, and has a court date set for January 22, 2025.

In the release, Fairview RCMP thanked the public for their assistance with this case.
