Grande Prairie Public Library hosting Noon Year’s Eve event
The Grande Prairie Public Library will be hosting a free family-friendly New Year’s Eve event, during the day on December 31.
Noon Year’s Eve will run from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Rotary Community Room; Children’s Programmer at GPPL, Kate Renfree says this event, “offers children the chance to join in the New Year celebrations without staying up too late. It also gives us the opportunity to connect with one another as we explore New Year’s traditions from around the world.”
A number of activities are planned, including a countdown and a balloon drop at 12:00 p.m., mask and noisemaker making, and a wishing wall to decorate with New Year’s wishes.
The Noon Year’s Eve celebration is free to the public with no pre-registration required, the library will also be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 31.
