City hosting New Year’s Eve celebrations in Muskoseepi Park

The City of Grande Prairie will be hosting a free, festive event to start the new year on December 31.

Muskoseepi Park will have a plethora of festive activities from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., wrapping up with fireworks over the reservoir.

The activities include:

• Horse and wagon rides until 10 p.m., sponsored by Windsor Ford
• Skating party with lights and a DJ on the Muskoseepi pond.
• Snowshoeing with free snowshoe rentals.
• Fire dancing from 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., performed by Dream Dance Circus.
• Live music from local artists.
• Hot chocolate
• Children’s activities including crafts, face painting and colouring, sponsored by Windsor Ford.
