City of Grande Prairie resumes Traffic Signal Maintenance Program Jan. 14

Jan 10, 2025 | 11:39 AM

The City of Grande Prairie’s Traffic Signal Maintenance program resumes January 14.

City crews will be inspecting and upgrading traffic signal infrastructure at the intersections of 108 Avenue and 100 Street, 68 Avenue and 108 Street, and 98 Avenue and 100 Street.

While the work is ongoing, traffic signals will be temporarily offline and lane closures and speed reductions can be expected during off-peak hours.

Further work is expected in the spring.

The City’s Mark Hoseasson says this work is essential in maintaining traffic flow and ensuring the safety of drivers and pedestrians.
