ATCO relay torch gifted to County of Grande Prairie

Last week, County of Grande Prairie Manager Joulia Whittleton was presented with the ATCO relay torch.

The award was presented by two ATCO representatives Shelly Abram and Shauna Clark Marlow, during a ceremony at County Council Chambers on Wednesday, January 8.

The torch was given to the county, in recognition of its contributions to the 2024 Alberta Winter Games, which included, $200,000 in event funding, $50,000 “through gift-in-kind services,” such as volunteer and staff support; as well as space for events at the County Sportsplex.
