Northwestern Polytechnic joining national research initiatives

Northwestern Polytechnic has been selected to participate in two national research projects with funding totalling over $56 million.

The first initiative is being run by Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and connects over 45 post-secondary institutions and research centers, while the other is run by Red River College Polytechnic in Winnipeg and involves 38 institutions.

Both of these programs aim to strengthen Canada’s innovation ecosystem by enhancing commercialization and entrepreneurship skills training.

NWP Dean of Applied Research and Innovation Sivagowry Lewis says being a part of these initiatives, positions NWP at the forefront of innovation and entrepreneurship.
