Update Thursday January 16, at 7:00 p.m. – Red Earth Creek RCMP would like to update the public that Chelsea has been located and is safe. Red Earth Creek RCMP wishes to extend their appreciation to all community members who have lent a hand, assisted with tips and have assisted in any way

RCMP in Red Earth Creek are looking for a missing 12-year-old girl.

Police say Chelsea Williams was reported missing at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 16. She was last seen at her home at around 9 a.m.

Police think she may be trying to get to High Level or Fort Vermilion, but don’t know how she would be getting there.

Chelsea is described as 5’5″, 180 pounds, with a light complexion, with dark brown hair dyed at the ends. Police did it is not known what she was wearing, but she may have black shoes with the word “WEED” written on the inside.
