
Grande Prairie Deputy Crown Chief Prosecutor appointed Justice of the Court
Grande Prairie’s Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor is getting a promotion.
Shannon Davis has been appointed a Justice of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta in Grande Prairie, filling one of three new positions authorized in the area.
Born in Grand Falls-Windsor, Davis attended the University of New Brunswick and earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2007 before being called to the bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2008, and later moving to Grande Prairie as a front line-prosecutor.
He has served on various boards and committees including the Alberta Justice Mental Health Committee and as a prosecutor liaison for the Alberta Victim Services redesign.
