Multiple garbage bags discovered on MD of Peace roads

The Municipal District of Peace is reminding residents and visitors that dumping garbage on roads and ditches is prohibited.

This is following the discovery of around 20 garbage bags found near the intersection of Township Road 824 and Range Road 240 on Sunday

The MD advises that first time offenders caught illegally dumping can be fined up to $250, while repeated offenders could face a fine up to $5,000.
