Enviroment Canada not expecting a flash freeze in the Peace

Despite the current freeze-thaw cycle, the Peace region is experiencing; Environment Canada does not expect a flash freeze.
Environment Canada says a flash freeze comes when temperatures drop 10-12 degrees rapidly, usually within three hours.
Yesterday, (Wednesday, January 29) temperatures did hit a high of five degrees, slowly dropping to minus eight overnight.
