Snow clearing in County neighbourhoods Monday

Snow removal operations are taking place in the County of Grande Prairie today in the neighbourhoods of Whispering Ridge and Westlake.

No street parking is permitted between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. during this time, to let snow removal crews work without the hassle of vehicles on the streets.

If you are parked along the street, your car could be at risk of being ticketed or even worse… towed.

Neighbourhoods in the city have not been cleared since December 20, 2024, according to their interactive Residential Snow Clearing Progress map. Since that time, Environment Canada statistics show Grande Prairie has received 24 cm of snow.
