Grande Prairie RCMP seeking public’s help identifying robbery suspects

Grande Prairie RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying potential suspects connected to multiple robbery reports.

On January 22, around 7:00 p.m., Mounties were called after an unknown male entered a business around 100 Avenue with a large knife, making their way from the location with a large amount of jewelry after assaulting an employee and damaging a display case.

Then on January 31 at approximately 6:45 p.m., an unknown male entered the same business with a handgun, making off with more jewelry.

The first suspect is described as:

  • 5 foot 7 inches tall
  • Long red and black hair
  • Wearing a multicoloured bandanna
  • White sweater
  • Green winter jacket

The second suspect is described as:

  • Approximately 5 foot 7-9 inches tall
  • Wearing a tan coloured jacket blue jeans
  • White face mask
  • Medium complexion.

The investigation is still ongoing and RCMP is requesting any local businesses or community members within the store’s area on either night to contact the detachment or Crimestoppers.
