Spirit River local wins $100k

A Spirit River man needed two other people to confirm for him that he had won a recent $100,000 lottery.

Lawrence Campbell was checking his numbers for his EXTRA ticket at the Co-op in Rycroft to see if he had won the December 11 draw when his cashier became excited.

Campbell says he still didn’t realize he had won until the manager approached and confirmed it.

He says he’s considering purchasing a new car with his winnings.
