Annual Passionate Heart Awards return

The 2025 Passionate Heart Awards will be held on Friday, February 14 at Bonnetts Energy Centre.

Since November of 2024, residents have had the opportunity to nominate locals, businesses or organizations that make “outstanding contributions” to the social services sector; often taking roles behind the scenes with the intention of not being recognized for their work.

This year, 32 different individuals, organizations and businesses have been nominated with nine awards being given away during the ceremony on Friday, which will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bonnett’s.

Residents wanting to attend the event, which is sponsored by Family Community Support Services (FCSS) in the City and County of Grande Prairie as well as the towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Wembley; will have to purchase tickets.
