Grande Prairie volunteer organization to close at the end of February

The Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteer Organizations says it will shut down in a week.
The organization says in a social media post that it “will be ceasing operations as of February 28, 2025.”
The post did not outline any reasons for the closure but does say that the “decision was not made lightly.”
The organization went on to say that it wants to “express our sincere gratitude for the support and collaboration we have shared over the years.”
