Non-life threatening injuries for three people after BC Peace crash

Feb 21, 2025 | 7:00 AM

Fort St. John RCMP say three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash Thursday morning.

It happened just before 8 a.m. on Highway 97 about 40 kilometres northwest of Fort St. John.

Mounties say a southbound vehicle was stopped and was trying to turn left when it was hit from behind by another vehicle.

The rear-ended vehicle ended up on the shoulder while the other truck spun around and blocked the highway.

Two other vehicles, one northbound and one southbound, hit the ditch to avoid the crash and were also damaged.

The highway was down to one lane of alternating traffic while the site was being cleared.
