Two individuals in custody after proactive patrols in Peace River

Peace Regional RCMP have one suspect wanted on “several outstanding warrants” in custody after a traffic stop in Peace River.

Mounties say they conducted a stop on Sunday night, (February 23) while doing proactive patrols in the area of Range Road 223; locating a suspect wanted on warrants for mischief, failing to attend court, and failing to comply with undertaking conditions.

Charlie Dawn Auger, a 36-year-old Peace River resident was remanded into custody with a court date set for today. (Wednesday, February 26)

Additionally, Auger was ticketed for lack of insurance, registration, and active driver’s license.

During this stop, Mounties also found the vehicle passenger, 42-year-old Carman Rhoda Lamouche was violating her parole conditions.

Lamouche was then remanded into custody, “as per the statutory release.”
