Grande Prairie RCMP arrests suspects in Girouxville break and enter

The Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested several individuals suspected of being involved in a break and enter and vehicle theft from Girouxville.

On February 21, the Grande Prairie Crime Reduction Unit was able to locate the stolen vehicle and bring it to a stop safely, resulting in the arrest of three individuals.

Thirty-one-year-old Scott Darryl Parker and 38-year-old Brett Ryland Thibault of Peace River, and 33-year-old Danielle Diane Buggins of Grande Prairie are all facing several charges, including break and enter, robbery, forcible confinement, and possession of property obtained by crime.

All three suspects were brought before a justice of the Peace. Thibault and Buggins appeared in court February 24 and 26 respectively, with Parker to appear in court March 3.

McLennan RCMP say the investigation is still ongoing, and the public is being asked to provide any information regarding another person of interest in the break and enter: 49-year-old Jennifer Helen Emard of the MD of Smoky River.

Emard is described as:

  • 49-years-old
  • Approximately 5 foot 4 inches
  • Approximately 100 pounds
  • Blonde or brown, shoulder length hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Medium complexion

Emard is wanted on several charges, including for break and enter to a residence, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
