Residents reminded to ‘Spring Forward!’

Residents are being reminded to move clock’s forward an hour, as we spring into spring!

Daylight savings will go into effect on Sunday, March 9, and the County of Grande Prairie says “its also the perfect time to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detector.”

“Experts recommend swapping the batteries out every six months, and timing it with the time change makes it easy to remember.”
