Storm players, coach nominated for league awards

Several members of the Grande Prairie Storm are among the League Award Finalists for the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Tomas Marinkovic is up for the Top Forward Award.

Logan Cunningham has been nominated for Outstanding Defenceman.

Nicholas Jones is among the finalists for Top Goaltender.

Chris Schmidt is up for Coach of the Year.

There are four finalists in each category, two from each division. They are picked by the coaches and general managers.

There will be another round of voting after the regular season ends this weekend.
