PWPSD appoints new Wembley Elementary principal

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division has announced a new principal at Wembley Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year.

Theresa Simmonds will be taking the reigns as temporary principal after serving as principal of Bonanza school since 2009.

Simmonds says her time at Bonanza School has been very fulfilling, but she is excited to begin her new role in Wembley.

She begins her new role fall 2025.
