County of Grande Prairie issuing gravel road bans March 18

The County of Grande Prairie is putting a road ban in place for gravel roads, starting Tuesday March 18.

Effective 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, all gravel roads will be at 75 per cent axle weight, unless otherwise posted.

The bans are issued during spring thaw and inclement weather, when gravel roads are especially vulnerable to damage.

The bans are in effect 10:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m.
