Two arrested after Grande Prairie home searched

Grande Prairie RCMP has arrested two after searching a home in Grande Prairie. 

A man and a woman are facing numerous charges following a month-long investigation that involved the local Drug Unit and General Duty Members of the RCMP. The search on December 21, 2017, turned up 251.35 grams of cocaine, 57.82 grams of methamphetamine, .24 grams of heroin, 58 oxycontin pills and $3040.00 in Canadian currency. Thirty-three-old Glenn Baker and 44-year-old Twila Letendre are charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.  Baker is also facing five counts of Breach of Recognizance. 

Baker appears in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on January 3, 2018, and has been remanded into custody. Letendre has been released from custody and will appear in court on January 10, 2018.
