PWPSD appoints new principal for Bonanza School

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division has announced a new principal at Bonanza School for the 2025-2026 school year.

Nikita Young will be taking over as principal after teaching at Bonanza School since 2012.

Young says she’s excited to contribute to the success that makes Bonanza School a place where students thrive and feel supported.

She’s taking over for Theresa Simmonds who’s serving as acting principal of Wembley Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year.
