GPPSD announces Edwin Parr Award Nominee

Grande Prairie Public School Division has announced its nominee for the Edwin Parr Award for first-year teachers.

Ailee Estrada, a Grade 5 teacher at Hillside Community School, is being recognized for her commitment to meeting the needs of all learners.

Principal Mike Humbke says Estrada shines as a teacher, leader, colleague and friend who helps in every way possible.

GPPSD Chair Joan Nellis says Estrada’s dedication to her students makes a real difference in the school community.

Estrada will learn if she has won the Edwin Parr Award sometime in the fall.
