Public Health Clinic in Grande Prairie temporarily closed

Alberta Health Services says what it calls “indoor air quality issues” mean the Public Health Clinic in Grande Prairie has been closed temporarily.

The clinic is located in the Provincial Building downtown.

AHS says in a news release that clinic staff are contacting patients and rescheduling appointments that had been set up to May 3.

AHS adds that it understands that such closures can be stressful. It is reminding people that help for non-emergencies can be found by calling Health Link at 811.

AHS adds that repairs are being completed in hopes of reopening as soon as possible. The health agency did not specify what repairs were needed.
