Peace Regional RCMP search for a missing man

UPDATE: May 7 5:30 p.m. – Peace Regional RCMP say Darin Overholt has been located and is safe. Police are thanking the public for help in locating him.

Peace Regional RCMP are asking for the public’s help with locating a 61-year-old man.

Darin Walter Overholt was last seen in the Peace River area on April 29, around 11 p.m. on 100 Avenue in Peace River.

Another possible sighting was reported on May 3 at 11:30 a.m., around 100 Street.

He is described as:

Light complexion
Green eyes
Blading hair
Wears glasses
No facial hair
Approximately 5’7
Approximately 140lbs
Not steady on feet and typically must lean on things or hold things to walk

At this time, Mounties are asking businesses and homes in the area to check their surveillance systems for any signs of Overholt.
