LaPrairie Group of Companies announces passing of President & CEO

Crane rental company LaPrairie Group of Companies has announced the passing of their president and CEO Scott LaPrairie.

Scott passed away earlier this spring, after a battle with cancer.

LaPrairie calls Scott a gifted leader who grew a one-crane, two-man operation into 800 employee business in a variety of industry sectors.

Grande Prairie has been a hub for LaPrairie Group of Companies for several years and Scott is remembered as a key figure in the Peace region business community.

They’re remembering Scott as a much-loved family man and close friend to many, that held deep family values that were fully integrated into LaPrairie’s operations.

Grande Prairie has served as a major location for the LaPrairie Group of Companies for many years, and Scott is recognized as an influential leader within the business community of the Peace region.
