Traffic Impacts:

  • Starting at 5:00 a.m.:
100 Avenue westbound closes between 98 Street and 102 Street. North-south traffic remains open on 98 Street, 99 Street, 100 Street, 101 Street and 102 Street.
  • Starting at 10:00 a.m.:
95 Street, between 108 Avenue and 100 Avenue, becomes restricted to local traffic as parade marshalling begins. A full closure follows closer to parade time.
  • Starting at 11:15 a.m.:
Lane closures begin on roads approaching the route. Intersections remain open as long as safely possible before full closures are implemented.
  • Just before noon:
100 Avenue westbound closes at 95 Street. Westbound drivers can detour via 93 Street and 94 Street to reach 108 Avenue. North-south traffic at 96 Street and 100 Avenue is also restricted around this time.
  • During the parade:
As the parade progresses, rolling closures affect north-south traffic at 96 Street through to 102 Street. Detours are available via 92 Street or 108 Street.
  • On 98 Street, 100 Street and 102 Street:
Detours one block north and south of 100 Avenue help preserve traffic flow until the parade passes.
