Wildfire in Catherine Estates area, no danger to the public

UPDATE: 5:40 p.m.: The fire is now under control. County fire crews will continue working on putting out hot spots.

County of Grande Prairie and Alberta Wildfire crews have been called to a fire in Catherine Estates, west of Saskatoon Mountain.

The county says there is no danger to the public and the fire is being held.

People are being asked to avoid the area.
