Motowylo wins WPCA title at Stompede

Obrey Motowylo won the $40,000 championship final for the World Professional Chuckwagon Association at Stompede.

Motowylo won coming off of Barrel 4.

Obrey’s sons Ethan and Hayden served as his outriders.

Jason Glass won the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award for finishing first in the aggregate after Saturday’s races. His outriders were Rory Armstrong and Tyson Whitehead.

Jamie Laboucane, Chanse Vigen, Motowylo, Glass and Doug Irvine had the fastest times on the day on Sunday.

The next stop for the WPCA is Bonnyville June 5 to 8.
