Evacuees encouraged to plan routes using 511 Alberta

With evacuation orders and alerts in effect across the Peace region, residents are encouraged to stay up to date with 511 Alberta to plan the safest route out.

According to Alberta Wildfire, many blazes continue to burn in the northwest, causing northern highways to close or lower speeds.

At this time, two evacuation orders were issued for the MD of Greenview and Saddle Hills County, with residents in the County of GP already evacuated or waiting on alert.
