Recreational facility operations affected by wildfire smoke

Wildfire smoke has begun affecting operations for local recreation.

The Town of Beaverlodge announced that the Nu-Vista Energy Centre will remain closed until Wednesday, June 11, due to wildfire smoke.

In the City of Grande Prairie, the Aquatera Outdoor Pool is closed until further notice, while the Eastlink Centre has closed it’s water features to combat smoke, but remains open.
