Town of Grimshaw CAO resigns

The Town of Grimshaw is saying goodbye to their Chief Administrative Officer.

Brian Allen will be bringing his more than two-decade long association with the Town to an end, to take on a new role as CAO for the Municipal District of Peace, effective July 14.

Allen has been with the Town since 1998, having served as a councillor and mayor before becoming CAO in 2013.

During his time Allen led the response and recovery to the 2003 windstorm, helped develop a partnership with the Peace River School Division and Holy Family Catholic Regional Division, and helped support major infrastructure upgrades.

Allen says he is very grateful for his time with the Town and is thankful the Council, staff and residents for their support.

Mayor Wendy Wald says Allen’s knowledge, leadership and presence will be missed as they wish him, every success in his new role.
